The AdEngage publisher program allows publishers to easily generate revenue by displaying text ads on their websites. How it WorksAfter a publisher creates an account with AdEngage and places a few lines of HTML code on his or her website, the site is listed in the AdEngage Site Directory for advertisers to browse. Once a text ad is purchased on a publisher's site, AdEngage displays the text ad where the publisher has placed HTML code and pays the publisher for his or her earnings. AdEngage provides the publisher many services including site promotion to advertisers on the AdEngage website, payment processing, site and ad statistics, ad rotation, and advertiser support. Additionally, the AdEngage staff quickly responds to any publisher inquiries made through phone or email. Minimum Quality StandardsAdEngage focuses on sites that have real content that is updated on a regular basis. The site must be complete and not under construction. AdEngage will not accept sites that contain only ads or sites that are of low quality. If a publisher has a site in a language other than English, the site must have high daily traffic and a high Alexa rank. Publisher PreferencesDuring the sign-up process, the publisher has the option to exclude certain types of text ads like ones promoting tobacco or gambling from being displayed by checking the boxes corresponding to each category. If a publisher does not approve of a text ad purchased on his or her site, the publisher has the option to deny and remove the text ad. The publisher has the option to deny ads and edit the site's preferences at any time using the features listed under the "My Account" tab. |
